When our founder, Deepak Shukla, started to build and operate several cafes around North End Road and Marylebone, he got immersed in making the business thrive. So, alongside the talented baristas he hired, he served people too.
While serving various people from all walks of life, he encountered tattoo artists and people who were about to get a tattoo or had just finished getting a tattoo. During conversations with these people, he got that nostalgic feeling of when he was getting tattoos himself and getting coffee before or after it.Deepak has a spot in his heart for body art– especially tattoos. He loves how culture, history, and meaningful symbols can all physically and permanently be part of oneself.
