The Dagwood Dog Guy is a family-owned business that has been operating for well over 100 years. The iconic Dagwood Dogs have been a part of the McDonald Family since my great grandfather Bill McDonald started selling fairy floss in Newcastle NSW down by the beach with a kerosine machine. My great grandparents Bill & his wife Mary then went onto sell Fresh cream Waffles, Toffee Apples, Fairy Floss & Dagwood Dogs in square tents at agricultural shows far & wide.
