Graystone Inn, originally “The Bridgers Mansion,” was built in 1905-1906 by Elizabeth H Bridgers, widow of Preston L Bridgers, merchant, and son of Robert R Bridgers, past president of the Atlantic Coast Line Railway, founder of the Wilmington/Weldon Railroad, and 2x representative to the Confederate Congress.
A historic landmark & one of the most elegant structures in Wilmington, has recently undergone extensive renovations and has been returned to its original “turn of the century.
