Dr. Thorne has spent 30 years performing, teaching, & writing about Plastic Surgery and will take over as President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the only society within Plastic Surgery totally dedicated to cosmetic surgery. He has served as Chair of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and President of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons. Published 50 articles and 23 book chapters and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Grabb and Smith Plastic Surgery textbook.
