Founded in 1982 by our parents, John & Pat Mason, Town & Country Shoe Outlet opened its doors selling reconditioned, factory seconds, closeouts and first line footwear. As teenagers, Greg and I worked the floor as well as our repair shop, fixing and reconditioning shoes for sale.
In 1985, just 3 years after opening our doors, our father passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack while working at the store. We were a close family and often wondered if we could continue. Mom, who was no stranger to hard times, realized she had two teens that had full lives ahead of them. She stepped up to lead the store for more than 30 years, allowing my brother and I to graduate college and pursue our own careers. In 2015, Greg & I purchased the store from her so she could enjoy retirement. My wife, Linda, took over management and lead us into the digital age with son, Hunter, coming onboard to develop our e-commerce platform. He makes us a 3-generation store!
Over the past 38 years, our store has become well known for selling top brands with unmatched service. Today, we sell top brands of men, women and children footwear with a focus on work, casual and active lifestyles. Our staff is experienced in helping our customers select the right shoe for their need.
In November 2020, we changed the name of our store to Mason Brothers Footwear & Apparel to better align with who we are and what we represent. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We will do our best to make you a loyal customer.
