As a School Bus Driver with Punctual Express, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting students to and from school each day. You will be the face of our company and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers.
Safely operate a school bus on designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition
Keep the interior of the bus clean and tidy for the comfort of students
Manage the behavior of students while on the bus to maintain a safe and orderly environment
Communicate with dispatch, parents, and school officials as necessary
Ensure the safe and timely arrival of students at their destinations
A valid commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement and a safe driving record
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test
Ability to successfully complete a background check and meet all state and federal requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons
