Will other countries know about your bad credit reputation?

Will other countries know about your bad credit reputation?

If you have a poor credit reputation in one nation, it doesn’t necessarily mean they all will be distrustful towards you. Each one uses different calculation systems for this sort of thing.

It’s not uncommon to move abroad for one reason or another. You might receive a promising career proposal 1000 km or want better scenery around you. Whatever the reason, there is still a question about the debts that you have left at home.

But you don’t have to worry about that. If you move from one country to another (say, from France to Germany), you won’t be bringing your credit reputation with you. If you have unpaid debts and you want to keep them that way, your score in France will continue to deteriorate, preventing you from taking on new loans in this country.

In your new place, however, you’ll be starting with nothing. Privacy laws accepted in most civilized countries make it impossible for personal information to be transferred to a foreign establishment. So, it doesn’t matter how mad your previous bank is with you, they can’t make your life worse in a new country.

But if it’s still bothering you in one way or another, consider giving us a call so we could clear that right up for you.
