History Made By CAP & COTHM
The first time I met CAP was at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. He had just won his first ever Cannabis Cup title and he was super excited about it. I remember him telling me how proud he was to have been able to win the cup and represent Canada. That day we became friends and I learned a lot from him. We would talk about everything from politics to business and even our families. He always told me that if I wanted to make money in the cannabis industry then I should start my own company. A few months later I did exactly that. My name is Cothm and I am the founder of CAP & COTHM.Hospitality Plus
What Is CAP?
CAP stands for Canadian Association of Professional Horticulturists. Our goal is to provide professional growers with the tools they need to succeed in the cannabis industry. We do this by providing them with high quality products, training, and education. We strive to help people become successful in their careers and build strong communities.
How Did You Get Into The Industry?
I started out working for a local dispensary in Vancouver called Green House. I worked there for almost two years before deciding to go back to school. After graduating I went back to work for Green House again. While working there I decided to get involved in the cannabis community and help others achieve success. I joined the BC Marijuana Party and ran for office in the 2017 election. I ended up winning the seat of Delta South and now serve as the MLA for Delta South.
Why Do People Trust You?
People trust me because I am honest and trustworthy. I don't lie to people and I tell them what I think. I believe that honesty is the best policy and I try to live by those words. If someone asks me something I know the answer to, I'll give it to them straight forward. I want everyone to succeed and I'm here to help them do that.
What Are Your Goals In The Industry?
My goals in the industry are simple. I want to help people who want to enter the industry. I want to help them find jobs and opportunities. I want to help educate people on the importance of being safe while using cannabis. I want to help create a positive environment where people can learn and grow together.
What's Next For CAP?
We're currently working on developing a line of cannabis accessories. We plan to launch these products in 2018. We've already got some great ideas and we're looking forward to bringing them to market.Hospitality Plus
