Make sure to save your correspondence with them, and in case they’re not very prompt in correcting the mistake you can file a complaint under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. 

Once you submit a dispute to the reporting agency, they are supposed to remove all the details that belong to someone else. This will immediately solve the problem.
